The science program in Frontier School Division is comprehensive and multifaceted with several goals and accomplishments.  

Our primary goal is to support and motivate Frontier teachers to give our students authentic learning experiences. The program enhances scientific curricula using technology and STEM, and it promotes scientific literacy and numeracy with a focus on Cluster 0. 

We are standardizing the approach to laboratory procedure and safety for a more regulated and effective hands-on learning environment. The program promotes scientific careers that support our Indigenous communities and we are committed to ensuring students have repeated exposure to land-based learning and sustainable development.

Finally, with a culmination of all aspects of our initiatives, we strive to provide students with opportunities to connect to a more global scientific community.​​
